In Memory of Dr. Al Thompson

In 1963, Dr. Alfred Thompson moved to Fair Haven and opened a dental practice. He served the community of Fair Haven as a dentist and much more until 1999. Al and his wife Sue Ann raised two sons in the town and spent many weekends boating on the Navesink and tending their plot in the community garden.

In 1999, Dr. Thompson sold his practice to Dr. Paul Ferguson, and it became Ferguson Dental Care. Dr. Ferguson has always felt honored to carry on the work of such a kind and principled man.

Our hearts go out to the members of our team who worked with Dr. Thompson for many years. To them he was more than a respected colleague. To them, he was a mentor, a friend, and for some even a father figure.

On behalf of everyone at Ferguson Dental Care, we offer our condolences to Sue Ann and all the Thompsons. It is a sad day for us today, but we are grateful for the many blessings that were part of the beautiful life of Dr. Al Thompson.
